Karl-Oskar Lindgren is Associate Professor in the Department of Government, Uppsala University. He also holds a part-time research position at IFAU, and he is a research fellow at the Uppsala Center for Labor Studies. His research interests include political representation and participation, political economy, EU politics, and methods. Lindgren’s ongoing research focuses on the political effects of education, the political repercussions of the Great Recession, and the causes of the political underrepresentation of immigrants. His previous work has appeared in journals such as American Political Science Review, American Journal of Political Science, Comparative Political Studies, Social Networks, European Union Politics, Electoral Studies, and Journal of European Public Policy.
